Me in Pink.JPG

Who am I? I’m a strategist with the heart of a storyteller.  A performer whose medium is presenting to clients.  An academic who wants to reach larger audiences.  A fiction writer who finds narrative in unexpected places.

I have a B.A. from Yale University and an M.F.A. in creative writing from NYU. I spent a decade teaching expository, creative, and business writing at NYU, Stanford University, and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. In 2011, I started a streetstyle blog, which catapulted me into the world of marketing and branded content. Since then, I’ve worked with brands like Anthropologie, Equinox, Palmolive, and Speed Stick GEAR. At Paramount Brand Studio, I created content for companies like Bush’s Baked Beans and Taco Bell, and from there joined the Brand Design and Consulting team at R/GA as an Associate Creative Director of verbal design. Now I’m building a paper goods company called Wild Plum Poetry, which uses poetry to inspire people and make life more fun.
